Mission
It is the mission of YLC Restoring the Princess Ministry Curriculum to provide a tool for adults to empower teen girls, through providing an environment of love, acceptance, self expression, and Christian guidance. The goal of the YLC Restoring the Princess Ministry is that by attending teen girls will continue to seek and understand who they are in the Lord, grow in their self-esteem, and mature into healthy well rounded young ladies in their family, education, and personal lives.

YLC Restoring the Princess visits Philadelphia!

On November 12, 2016 YLC Restoring the Princess had the awesome opportunity to showcase the curriculum at Anthony Trott's  'It's OK 2 Laugh' night of fun filled comedy. This event was held at the Grand Yesha Ballroom in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  It was an excellent night and great connections were made!

A Word from Cape Town South Africa!

The YLC Restoring the Princess Ministry in Cape Town, South Africa have informed us that they are successfully meeting! They hosted their first session in 2011 with young ladies whose ages ranged from 15 to 20 years old at local high school. The education department, which is located in an impoverished community, was very involved and allowed the eager young ladies to leave school early to participate in group activities. Praise God, approximately 18 ladies committed and attended

the sessions regularly!  Their ministry leader, Virginia stated that the program is working excellently and that the young ladies have reported a diligent and ongoing change of attitude and behavior, as well as progress in their schooling!  The ladies are motivated and inspired to reach their dreams. The ministry provides the ladies with one meal a day, which for many is their only meal. The ministry currently continues to meet with the young ladies who are interested. An attempt with a missionary church from North Carolina to visit the princesses in Cape Town, South Africa, was made in September, 2014. This attempt fostered an opportunity to receive a progress report from Cape Town and share a unique ministry and its curriculum with missionaries who have made South Africa their land of research.

YLC Started in Abaco, Bahamas

"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name."  Psalms 100: 1-2, 4

YLC Restoring the Princess Ministry in Abaco, Bahamas contacted me in the Spring on 2013 and informed me that they were doing wonderfully. Led by Bertlyn, and held in Pastor Mills church located in Abaco, they met routinely and communicated weekly to inform one another of upcoming meetings and events. Bertlyn invited me to the ministry's Princess Ceremony and Royal Ball in August 2013. I had the honor of attending this momentous event that was advertised by radio and Abaco television. Seventeen girls were presented at the ministries first Presentation Ceremony and many leaders within the community attended.  Attending this ceremony was one of the highlights of my career and years of service in ministry. In 2014 Bertlyn and I remained in contact and she informed me of the second
presentation ceremony that would be held later on that year.  What an amazing testimony of God's love and evangelism to impact the lives of teenage girls around the world!  Some of these girls were inspired to help lead in ministry in their own churches the following year.
